Spring Roll Skewers with Gil’s Peanut Sauce

This super simple appetizer is an excellent option for holiday parties. The mini spring rolls and fresh veggies are perfectly paired with our Asian Peanut Sauce, a delicious combination of ground peanuts, coconut, lime juice, garlic, and ginger.


Serves 6 to 8 


Ingredients: 


10 to 12 mini spring rolls, cooked according to the instructions on the package 

3 fresh scallions, portioned into 1-inch slices 

1 small carrot, thinly sliced into ribbons 

1 to 2 fresh red chili peppers 

¼ cup sweet chili sauce, optional 

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish 


Instructions 

Thread cooked spring rolls onto bamboo skewers or hearty toothpicks. Add a slice of scallion, carrot ribbon, and red chili slice to each skewer. Serve the skewers on a serving platter with peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping. Garnish the platter with fresh basil leaves.
