Herbs de Provence Marinated Goat Cheese Balls

This easy appetizer is infused with herbaceous flavor. We used our Herbs de Provence seasoning, a classic spice blend that is a splendid combination of thyme, marjoram, rosemary, basil, sage, and lavender. An aromatic and creamy addition to your holiday appetizer menu.

Serves 6 to 8

Ingredients:

4 ounces soft goat cheese

4 ounces softened cream cheese

Lemon slices, orange slices, and fresh parsley leaves, for garnish

Crackers or crostini, for spreading and dipping

Instructions

Place goat cheese and softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl fitted with a paddle attachment, mix until combined. Refrigerate the cheese mix for 30 minutes to firm. Once firm, portion the mix using a small scoop or tablespoon measure, and roll into balls.

Place the herbs de Provence in a small bowl, add one to two cheese balls to the bowl, and gently roll to coat. Repeat with the remaining cheese balls.

Once coated, place the cheese balls in a large, shallow serving dish or bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with citrus slices. Cover the serving dish with plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve with crackers or crostini.
